Top Universities In The UK 2021

For 2021, the University of Oxford will continue to be the UK’s top university. The elite institution has dropped one place since last year’s ranking and is now the fifth best university in the world, while their rival institution the University of Cambridge remains in seventh place.There is a total of 90 UK universities in the QS World University Rankings 2021 – six more than last year. These institutions are four of the top 10, and there are another four that make it to the global top 50.

10) University of Warwick

The University of Warwick is still in 10th position in the UK, and is also ranked globally at 62nd for another year. The university’s global outlook is key to their success in the rankings. The University of Bristol is ranked ninth in the UK, but it has dropped nine places in the global rankings to 58 th. It scores high across all ranking indicators, especially for academic reputation. The university ranks 74 th worldwide.

8) London School of Economics and Political Science

The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) is ranked eighth in the UK. It dropped five places to rank 49 globally, making it the first UK university to be included in our top 10. LSE is ranked seventh worldwide for international students. This makes it the largest UK university in our ranking.

7) King’s College London, (KCL).

King’s College London (KCL) is seventh in the UK this year. It climbs two spots in the global rankings, to joint 31 and st. KCL is one of the four top UK universities based in London. It has impressive scores on all indicators, including academic reputation.

6) University of Manchester

This year, the University of Manchester is sixth in the UK and takes the 27 th position in the global rankings. Employers look favorably on Manchester graduates. The university is ranked 21 among the top worldwide for the employer reputation indicator.

5) University of Edinburgh

The University of Edinburgh is ranked fifth in the UK and remains the 20 best university in the world. It is also the only Scottish institution in top 10. The University of Edinburgh is a top-ranked institution for reputation and employer reputation. It ranks 25th and 31st globally for these indicators.

4) UCL (University College London)

UCL (University College London) is just two places away from a place in the UK’s top three. This year, UCL dropped two spots in the global rankings to 10 th. It ranks 13 th on the global academic reputation indicator, which is its highest score.

The bronze medalist in the UK was Imperial College London. This is the top-ranked university in London. It is now eighth in the world and ninth for academic reputation.

It’s a fight between the University of Oxford (UK) and the University of Cambridge (UK) for first place in UK rankings. Cambridge is ranked seventh worldwide, and Cambridge is in second place. Cambridge, however, is second globally in terms of both academic and employer-reputation, making it the UK’s highest-ranked university.
